Course Summary

Ever wondered how to not just taste coffee but really evaluate it? Then the Sensory Foundation course is right for you!

The Sensory Foundation course covers many different aspects of the sensory side of coffee, from sensory analysis to the science of how taste and smell work together, and everything in between.

Throughout the day you’ll learn to isolate and identify a variety of key coffee characteristics, helping develop your palate and start you on your journey to becoming a well-rounded coffee connoisseur (and to help you show off to your friends).

The Sensory Foundation course can be taken with or without SCA accreditation and is the first step in the SCA accredited Sensory module. This course can be used towards the [SCA Diploma](
