This course is specially curated for those enthusiasts who have espresso machines at home and aren’t quite sure what’s going on.
Whether you’re not getting that consistent flavour you love every morning, or unable to recreate your favourite flat white from your local coffee shop, this is just the course for you.
You’ll start the day with a cupping (a coffee tasting), where you’ll get to try a variety of different beans and discover just how diverse the flavours of coffee can be. Next, you’ll get the lowdown on how to handle espresso machines and understanding why espresso recipes are so important. We teach you how to tamp and extract, and how to create that perfectly balanced espresso. Once we’re on the journey to well-balanced flavour, we talk about the fundamentals of milk texturing and what makes the difference with a flat white, latte and cappuccino.
